The Bewitching

Imagine taking photos at Hamanassett's Koi pond (pictured above) - or indoors, where every room whispers history and romance...

Big, forever-love doesn't need a big wedding venue. The captivating places below are as beautiful and romantic as any large venue.  And they require little decoration -- because the setting is the decoration!

From historic sites to an award-winning vineyard...a 19th century Bed & Breakfast high on a hill...and a cool, contemporary art center...these are the places where history, beauty and character literally wrap their arms around you and say "We are the perfect places to share your most deeply personal moment - with the people who matter most in your life..."

The venues are perfect for parties ranging from 15 to 200 guests.

Hamanassett is a romantic, warm and welcoming hostess - alive with history and adorned with antiques.
Owner/proprietors, Ashley and Glenn Mon have traveled the country collecting beautiful antiques, art and furniture for this enchanting English manor house. As you can see in the picture above, it sits on a hill overlooking seven landscaped acres of stately trees, a cascading waterfall Koi pond, and at the end of the English rose and lavender path, is a stone terrace with a water nymph fountain.

The manor house itself, with a billiards room, library and dining room with fireplace...hearkens back to earlier days when grace and character were not only in vogue...but a component of craftsmanship and art of the day.

Make incredible memories...

Who doesn't love a little
'Monkey Business'...

There's nowhere else I can think of that offers a creative, artsy ambiance inside...and a castle-esque outdoor setting for ceremonies and bridal party photos.

This unexpected art treasure is the perfect canvas for your wedding day!      Surrounded not only by family and friends, you'll find colorful and exciting works of art all around you. From petite estate rooms to a dramatic gallery, this venue is not only perfect for small weddings and receptions...it also can host just over 200 people.
The  Duke Gallery
The Duke Gallery was built in 2008, and offers a full dance floor and seated service. The gallery is fully air conditioned and handicap accessible.

Side Lawn & Secret Garden     Just steps outside the gallery is a lovely lawn filled with spectacular ceremony and photo locations as well as a one-of-a-kind secret garden.

The lawn is a showstopper, with a Medieval looking stone tower and stone gateway leading into a dense forest.

The garden is tucked away but as you enter, it explodes in a myriad of colorful mosaics and sculptural installations --  a great place for cocktails and wedding after-parties.                                                             Everyone can get gooey together, making S’mores around the fire pit or enjoying artisan pizzas freshly baked in their outdoor pizza oven.

Stately and handsome, choose an elegant ballroom with a unique wood design for year-round ceremonies and receptions...
The gorgeous room (pictured above) is located upstairs (with elevator access) and is a stunner, decked out with rich hardwoods and fireplaces creating a beautiful, traditional backdrop for your event. It can host cocktail parties for up to 125 guests, and full-seated dinner service for 60.

It’s an excellent spot for an intimate ceremony and a great alternative to the outdoor ceremony spaces when the weather is challenging.  Several more historic and modern studio spaces are also available.

Pre-Wedding Jitters-Be-Gone!
  • It's been months in the planning...weeks of crazy schedules...days flying by like rockets!
  • Now, just hours or minutes before saying "I  Do" -- every bride and groom needs a place to relax and just breathe!
For Brides it's the Center's newly renovated Library on the second floor of the Main building, complete with a large balcony overlooking the gallery. Grooms can chill in the Billiards Room (of course!) in the adjacent Smith Court Building.

One of the biggest wedding trends right now, are big, bold and colorful wedding flowers.  From the bride's bouquet to table top centerpieces, what better place to let your artistic side go crazy - than at an art center!
